Al Yemen Mandi - International City,Dubai

Rated I have visited this restaurant on Wednesday night. But that time i already had food. So planned for weekend. Yesterday night i planned to go there. But later I changed the plan and ordered by phone. It's difficult to sit with kids. They will run all over there. We ordered their mutton mafnoon only. It will costs you 45 dirhams. But its a common price. Some mandi restaurants will charge 40 only. The rice was ok, a usual type like all mandi outlet. But the mutton was not that much tasty. I like mafnoon from maiedatul noeman mandi more than here. But its not that bad, we finished it 😊 Will try their chicken mandi in coming days 😃 My Rating 3/5

Yamal Al Sham - Jumeirah 1, Dubai.

Recently in got an dinner invitation from Mr. Nidal, owner of Yamal Al Sham. i had an appointment with my Doctor in satwa on thursday night, so i selected the same day to for the dinner also. When i called Mr.Nidal he sent me the location Map, and we reached there within few minutes. He was at the front door, and welcomed us. they have arranged many seats outside also with a small water fountain and a replica of burj khalifa.There was some families having dinner it was very cold outside , thats why we decided to go inside. Mr Nidal instructed one of his staffs to take care of us and that guy was really helpful and friendly. He took us to the second floor. its such a big restaurant, which has three levels. The third floor is a party hall. the floors, furniture, interior design, wall paintings, crockery all were having a rich look. The second floor was empty and we sat on a corner where we can have a view of the beach road. They gave us so many items as starters, which included salads, cheese, laban, falafil, olives and so many unknown arabic dishes. the guy who served us described me each and every item seperate. i tasted all of them, some of them was tasty, some of them was not suitable for indians. may be arabs can enjoy all that dishes. We got fresh mango and orange juices as the drinks and both were cool and tasty. Then the main dishes came. it included a mix grill platter and mix sea food platter. Both were very hot. the mix grill platter included chicken, lamb tikka & kabab, from chicken tikka i liked the most. lamb kabas were fair. chicken seekh kabab was a normal one. in the mix sea foods we got 2 prawns,5 broasted squid rings, and 2 hamoor fillets and one salmon fillet. prawns were yummy, squids were crispy and tasty, hamour fillet was the best among and one was enough for us. Only the salmon was lost the flavour, and average. it was the only item which i couldnt finished. we finished all the other items with immense happiness. They served the rumali roti very early before the main dishes came and it became very hard when we started eating. so i recommend not to serve the rotis so early, try to bring it along with the main dishes. The hospitality we recieved was excellent, and the service is top notch and remarkable. over all a rich dinner experience. i talked with Mr. Nidal and he told me they are adding more features to the restaurant soon. He is a nice gentleman with some good talking sense. Thank you for a wonderful weekend night for us. Hope to see you again :) My Rating 3.5/5
